Cro was Nat's first show horse, they learned the ropes together. He was on this earth a short time and achieved so much.  He has two daughters who reached the show ring and are starting successful show careers.  Rest in peace Cro.

When Crobar Folly died an untimely death, Cross 5 Ranch went on a search to find a replacement stallion.  Sired by a 2 time World Champion Halter horse Sonnys Securitee and out of St Tardy Sun Seeker (Tardy Impressive x Seekers Sunshine by Goldseeker Bars).

In 2000 after intensive discussion; Cross 5 Ranch went on a search for an APHA stallion prospect.  A matrix was developed of requirements, a desirable prospect would have a World Class sire, a World Class dam, good conformation, halter and performance pedigree, presence, loud color and HYPP N/N.  Many were looked at and many didn't pass the matrix, until a colt by TQ Kid was found.  Purchased at a month old, Cross 5 Ranch got the privilege of naming the colt.  The colt arrived at the ranch on the tragic day of 9-11-01, after hauling all night from Colorado with two bucking bulls! Unfortunately we had to geld him his first breeding season as he was unable to get mares in foal. So he was gelded, put into training and put to work.

At the 2003 AQHA Convention there was a proposal on the table to allow all AQHA to AQHA crosses to be registered.  We purchased this colt due to being 100% quarter horse but registered APHA due to his sire being the result of two AQHA crop outs. The proposal passed the general membership vote, but in the first time in the history of the AQHA Convention the Board of Directors voted it down.  It was put back on the table for the 2004 Convention and passed. Faded Tribute did receive his AQHA registration.

An absolutely stunning mare with her sabino roan hair coat; flaxen mane and tail!  Shown only three times in the PAC program, placing 1st and Grand every time out. 
  Her broodmare career started out with a bang, producing a colt in her image. Her first colt, Dual Tribute; followed his dam's footsteps and placed Grand Champion first time shown as a weanling earning his first set of PtHA halter points. Dual Tribute went on to stand the Reserve Champion Fall Classic Late Weanling Colt Futurity and Top Tenned at APHA's inaugural Paint Vegas!

We purchased this colt in 2005 as a weanling, registered him and choose his name. We chose Oblivious because we are oblivious that he's a solid - it doesn't matter to us! He proved that the lack of spots didn't hinder his show record. We hope he proves himself in the breeding shed as well.  Then we can be totally oblivious to his lack of color.

 "Dually" was the result of line breeding a Tributes Mister son to a Tributes Mister daughter. We couldn't of been more pleased with this colt's balance and eye appeal. He has excellent conformation and an awesome temperament. The only think he lacks was qualifying white. Nat liked him so much she was going to make him into her show gelding and go for the PAC high point halter and show him in breeding stock geldings at the APHA shows. But, someone wanted him for a stallion prospect and was sold.
